(i know the pic is blurry, but that's the best i can do these days. my camera is spoilt and i have to rely on my phone.)
fresh succulent prawn in siew mai and many other dim sum treats, courtesy of the laurel restaurant on the 5th floor of luo hu commercial city in shenzhen. at very affordable prices too! no wonder we had to stand in line for half an hour.
travel china: "it's just as good, but cheaper." isn't that a great tourist promotion slogan?
i agree that it's unfair for the commies in bj to distort forex markets by depressing the yuan, but as long as i can go to shenzhen-or-any-other-chinese-city and get made-in-china stuff for a fraction-of-what-i-should-be-paying, then devaluation can't be that bad a thing, can it?
